Hudnalls Apiaries Honey Providers of fine quality honey products from the Forest of Dean and Welsh Marches. Hudnalls Apiaries produce British Propolis, Handcream, Beeswax Candles, Soap, Polish, and a wide selection of Honey Doug started keeping bees in the Forest of Dean as a hobby in 1975. He was given one hive by a local bee keeper, and from there the number of hives grew and grew. Hudnalls Apiaries has developed into a family run business located over-looking the river Wye where the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley meet the Welsh border counties. The hives are now distributed throughout the broad leaf woodlands of the Forest of Dean and the varied pasture lands of the Welsh Marches. This gives the Honey a distinctive mix of tree and blossom pollen, making it a very high quality. The temperate climate created by the Welsh mountains protects the bees from the cold westerly winds allowing them to pollinate flowers from early spring until late autumn. Surplus wax became a byproduct of the Honey production, and Hudnalls Apiaries learnt to make beeswax candles in our kitchen. Over the last 10 years this aspect of the business has developed into a wide range of novelty and functional pure Beeswax Candles, Hand Cream, Polishes and Propolis products. The candles were featured on London Underground posters advertising the Country Living Exhibition and were stocked by Harvey Nichols. Presently Hudnalls Apiarie supply The National Trust with our Furniture Polish, Honey and Hand-Cream Despite the ever growing demand for their products, Hudnalls Apiaries still pride themselves on finest quality products being delivered with a personal service www.hudnallsapiaries.co.uk Email: info@hudnallsapiaries.co.uk Tel: (01594) 530 807
